Hello! My best friend Twyla popped in on Friday to whip up a few cards for the teachers she works with. One of them was a retirement card for one of the faculty and she wanted something flowery and old-fashioned. I think we managed both!
The card itself is 5-1/4 square. On that I layered a 5 inch square and a couple smaller pieces of designer paper. Note: all of the designer paper except for the piece under the sentiment were zig-zag stitched, distressed, sanded and sponged with Chocolate Chip before I glued them down. Next came the ribbon and then the flowers. The flowers and leaves are all stamped, cut out and sponged to age them a bit and then randomly placed on the card. The sentiment is stamped, sponged and layered on a piece of designer paper and mounted up on dimensionals and for a bit of glam we added little pearls to the centers of all the little flowers.
Thanks for visiting and stop back later! I'll have this week's Sunday Stash Challenge inspiration photo!
