Easter Inspiration from Amy

Good morning! I thought this morning I'd post a card that I did a little while back. I created this card after seeing Amy Sheffer’s card a while back. I didn’t really go too far out of my way to alter her layout and design, but since I don’t have any of the stamps, paper or die cutting tools it does look a little bit different. As always, when I mimic one of Amy’s cards, I do a lot of praying that I’m actually doing it justice! I will say that I had some fun playing around with watercoloring with pastels and a blender pen which is something I haven’t done in a while.
The stamp set I used is a retired SU! set Easter Blessings combined with another retired stamp Filigree background. Here’s the rest of the recipe:
Stamps: Easter Blessings, Filigree
Paper: Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Always Artichoke, Pastel Green (American Crafts)
Ink: Perfect Plum, Basic GrayAccessories: Cuttlebug – Swiss Dots folder, Scallop Scissors, adhesive gems and flowers, Word Window punch, Lace Scallop Punch (Martha Stewart), ribbon, pastels, blender pen, Scallop Circle Dies (Quick-Kutz)
