Okay, last one for today... and one of my favorites.
The sketch for this card is not my own idea so I won't take the credit for the design beyond the choice of colors and paper. I made a card similar to this a year or two ago at a class I took at Archivers and I've been vowing to copy it ever since. What is fun about this one is that it gives you a perfect excuse to dig out all your little Primas, buttons, jewels etc to glam up the left side of the heart. The right side of the heart is made with, you guessed it, a half-heart of Raspberry Tart DSP and before you glue all the little tidbits down you faux-stitch with a gel pen (Jelly Roll red glitter) around the heart shape. This gives you an outline to follow for filling in with the little doodads. The heart itself is glued on a piece of Regal Rose cs cut 3-1/4 x 3-1/4. This is layered on a 3-3/8 in square of Whisper White. I tied a piece of celery grosgrain around the right edge (believe it or not it matches the background stems pretty well). The card itself is a medium coral (American Crafts) and is cut 4-3/4 x 9-1/2. Folded it is 4-3/4 in square and is layered on a 5 x 5 inch square of Kiwi Kiss. Once you have the card adhered to the backing piece, cut a square of DSP 4-1/4 inches and center it on the face of the card. The heart piece is mounted on dimensionals in the center of the DSP. Finally, with Kiwi Kiss, stamp the filigree tag from Too Terrific Tags and "LOVE" (Greetings-Heidi Grace) with Cameo Coral on Whisper White. Cut out the tag and punch the LOVE with a 1 inch circle punch. Layer on a 1-1/8 in punched circle of the medium coral (same as the card). Use a dimensional to mount the LOVE circles on the tag. Punch a small hole in the top of the tag and insert cord. Tie the cord around the ribbon that you already tied on the heart piece, slide it into place and you're done! S
